• influence legislation and the management of birds and nature in Denmark and abroad
• be the leading centre for knowledge on birds in Denmark
• communicate DOF’s knowledge widely under consideration of the various target groups’ needs and skills
• communicate joy and enthusiasm for birds through positive experiences for members and others
• make the organisation’s mission known to the Danish people
• be one of Denmark’s most active green organisations and offer all the possibility to make a positive and noticeable difference for birds and nature
